If you’ve been following the recent trend with Target, then you know they are creating partnerships with interior designers. By and large, the purpose of these partnerships is to create affordable home decor and furnishings for the consumers. Well, their highly anticipated collaboration with Studio McGee is dropping this Saturday (April 4th) online and in stores. Since most of us are socially distancing, please consider online shopping.
Let me give you a little history of the Studio McGee brand. Shea and Syd McGee own an amazing interior design firm based in Utah. Furthermore, they also own a retail store named McGee and Co that sells high-end furnishings, pillows, and other home decor accessories. For those that live in Southern California, they also have a physical store based in Orange County, CA.
I’ve been swooning over McGee and Co’s home accessories for some time, but the items are not within my budget. When I found out that Threshold – Designed with Studio McGee was coming to Target, I freaked out and starting planning my first order. I’m always looking to refresh some spaces in my home, and this collection fits my home’s aesthetic so well.
In this blog post, I have rounded up some of my favorite decorated spaces and curated items from the new collection, Threshold – Designed with Studio McGee. In particular, I’m sharing the looks that I want to incorporate into my upcoming refresh. I really love the earth tones and neutral decor options. Because these items are so inexpensive, you can easily refresh an entire space. Conversely, you won’t break the bank on a one-room makeover (especially during these difficult times).
Check out the three looks below, and let me know your favorites in the comments below.
