So whether you’re new or one of my repeat friends, hello… and I hope you enjoy my Spring Home Tour: Blush Pink and Florals

This year my spring home tour was inspired by the color blush pink and all the pretty spring flowers. This includes cherry blossoms, magnolia stems, and peonies as well as a bevy of other pink and neutral florals. I’m sharing some main living areas of my home styled for my Spring Home Tour 2020.
A Pottery Barn Inspired Collection of Floral Arrangements
Since my dining room is the first room you see when you enter my home, let’s start here. This is by far is one of my favorite decorated spaces for spring. It is bright, inviting and would be a great space for a nice spring tea party. As you are all aware, the spring tea party will need to wait due to the social distancing we’re currently experiencing.
The inspiration for this dining space was a photo that I saw in the Pottery Barn catalog. The array of floral stems and clear vases peaked my interest in recreating this look on my sideboard. Since my transitional winter look included my collection of cloches, I knew they would pair well with the cylinder clear vases.
I sourced these glass vases (cylinders) for my spring home from several retailers, and they were relatively inexpensive. The use of the clear glass along with the rocks adds such a modern look to this space. Additionally, all of the florals and stems add a punch of color to my perpetually neutral dining room.
Although my inspired look does not mimic the Pottery Barn photo exactly, it does include a bevy of florals and stems that bring joy into my spring home. My favorite spring stems are the real like tulips and magnolia stems from Afloral. These stems are amazing and look real to the naked eye. In fact, I literally have to tell visitors to my home that they are faux.
The different sizes and heights of the glass vases and floral arrangements give depth and dimension to this floral display. It also fills the sideboard with vibrant color and draws your eye up to this large medallion.
This white vase is the actual one that was used in the inspiration photo, and it is pretty substantial. To sum it up, these fuchsia flowers really pop against the white vase.
Tablescape with Succulents and More Spring Florals
In keeping with the blush pink and florals theme, I also placed my collection of spring faux succulents under the cloches. I have fallen in love with the look of succulents under the cloches to accent my spring home. Fun fact: The word cloche is French for “bell” since they are typically shaped like a bell or a dome. They are ordinally used to protect outdoor plants. All in all, I like a highlight my seasonal home décor items under these dome-shaped glass cloches.
Finally, my dining room tablescape is decorated in a simple manner with my classic white dinnerware. This is my go-to look for every season; however, I often add different centerpieces and accessories. Additionally, these burlap napkin holders shaped like bunny ears are the perfect way to create an Easter vibe.
I added more wall décor to the wall adjacent to the sideboard that resembles the existing medallion. Additionally, the color and texture totally work with my existing neutral theme. These embossed weathered tin plaques add a vintage touch along with the distressed paint finish.
Neutral with Hints of Blush Pink
As you move further into my home, you see I opted for a bench next to the coat closet. This is a temporary solution since I will eventually move it up to my daughter’s bedroom. Surely, most home decor enthusiasts can relate to having temporary pieces styled throughout your home in different seasons.
My spring home needed a bench since my black Windsor bench was moved upstairs. Equally as beautiful are these real snake plants that I starting growing last month. These are my first real plants (other than my succulents), so I’m excited to watch them thrive. Not to mention, this mister from Anthropologie is the cutest thing ever.
In addition to blush pink and florals, I have also brought back my recycled green glass vases with a variety of ferns. These are some of my favorite home decor items, and they easily take my decor from spring to summer.
You may notice that I finally selected wall art for this cozy corner of my family room. After all, it was worth the wait for the right pieces. These prints are framed textured fabric in a tribal print. I picked these up from Homegoods.
Throughout my family room, I’ve incorporated blush pink pillows, throws and bright pink florals. The blush pink pillows and throws are a great contrast to my neutral palette and add texture and coziness to my spring home décor.
A wider view of my family room. Specifically, I want to draw your attention to my new olive tree. This tree is massive! I have had this on my Pottery Barn wish list for some time. Not to mention, I got it on sale during one of their recent twenty percent off sales.
Spring Greenery and Black Accents
I would be remiss if I didn’t showcase this new black bookcase. I replaced my black Windsor bench with this Pottery Barn bookcase.
In fact, I have decided to start collecting milk glass and other vintage pieces, so I need a place to display them. My white dinnerware and serving collection are fairly large, so I styled the bookcase with a few of these pieces for now. The goal is to fill it with nice vintage pieces for a more collected look.
I’ve also added this new whitewashed dough bowl which is filled with hanging fountain succulents. If you want more inspiration on how to style dough bowls, check out my recent post here.
French Market Inspired Spring Home
I was inspired by Karen from Sanctuary Home Decor, and the French Country look in her kitchen. She displays her florals are such a beautiful and awe-inspiring way. I couldn’t help but be inspired by her looks. This market basket with wheels was sourced from Maisonelle, and it’s a large size. Anthropologie also sells this basket; however, they only carry the small size. I styled it with several varieties of spring stems such as dogwood, cherry blossom and
My kitchen is giving me all the feels of going to the market and bringing home beautiful flowers. In my case, the market is an online retailer and the beautiful flowers are faux. It’s okay to imagine a spring home filled with the smell of a spring French garden, right? For the time being, I will enjoy the look of these cherry blossom sprays and the explosion of peonies in all shades of pink and white.
Ginger Jar and Spring Florals
Along with the vibrant cherry blossoms, I’m swooning over this ginger jar. It has taken me over a year to find an inexpensive white ginger jar. Nothing says spring like a ginger jar filled with beautiful florals especially cherry blossoms. Furthermore, all of the white ceramic vases brightens up my spring home and creates a very clean look throughout the kitchen.
I also opted for a more neutral look with this enormous pedestal bowl and extra large wooden bead garland. This look is sleek, modern and classy without being too fussy. Honestly, I prefer to switch it up depending on my mood. Right now, it’s all about the florals to help with lifting my family’s spirits.
My kitchen sideboard is styled with more spring florals in large white vases. Of course, I have to style almost every sideboard or table with interior design books and spring moss spheres. It’s a staple look for my home.
I hope I’ve inspired you with these blush pink and spring floral touches that you can easily add to your home!
