Back in September 2016, my sister and brother in law came to visit us in Virginia. I love visiting model homes, so I decided to take them to visit a fairly new community near my home. Well, we started joking about purchasing one of the homes together. We decided that my family would live on the first two levels, and my sister’s family would live in the basement.
After visiting all of the model homes (it was a lot), we decided to go check out a new section with fairly large lots. There were a few homes already delivered and a couple under construction. I completely fell in love with the home sites since most of them backed to trees and green spaces. I told me sister and brother in law that even if they didn’t move to Virginia and purchase a home together, I would be purchasing one on this particular street.
In February 2017, I drove over to the newly built model home on that same street, and I immediately knew that this was home. I toured the model home, and I immediately contacted my real estate agent. We showed up the next day, and I wrote a contract for the purchase of my home. God is good and he’s faithful to his children. He blessed me with my 7th home!
I moved into my home in September 2017, and I immediately begin personalizing the home to suit my style.
