Hi friends!  In this blog post, I want to share how you can get the Pottery Barn, and Restoration Hardware looks for less. I’m also sharing copycats and dupes for some other high-end home décor, lighting, and furniture purchases that I’ve made over the past few years.  If you’re like me, you like to splurge on some items; however, you may want to save some coins on other items.  As long as the dupe is good quality, I don’t see an issue with choosing it over the actual higher-end item.

Let’s start with furniture pieces that I currently own, and I will share some less expensive dupes and copycats that look very similar.  The majority of these items can be found online, so happy shopping!

The Best Value Pottery Barn York Sofa Dupes

Let’s start with a couple of sofas that I currently have in my home.  One of my favorite places to purchase sofas is Pottery Barn, and their York sofa is very popular.  In fact, I get more questions about this sofa than anything else in my home. 

The Pottery Barn York Slope Arm Sofa is probably one of the best sofas I have ever purchased.  This sofa is perfect for a cozy, comfortable family room from the slope arms to the deep seat.  It’s the perfect sofa to curl up on and watch your favorite TV show.

Because I love the York sofa so much, I purchased a floor model at my local Pottery Barn recently on a whim.  I had been searching for a square arm or slipcovered white sofa with a bench seat, and I was waiting for Pottery Barn to offer the Buy More, Save More deal. Of course, I was going to jump on that opportunity to score a new sofa for my upstairs loft area.  The sofa I purchased was square-arm with two back and seat cushions.  Because it was such a great deal for the price (half off the regular price), I pulled the trigger quickly. 

There are so many great dupes for the Pottery Barn York sofa.  Whether you want a slipcovered, square arm, slope arm, or deep sofa, there are so many options available at many online retailers.  You may not be able to get this dupe in a performance fabric; however, the look is almost identical. 

Because this sofa is so versatile, I want to provide a third rolled arm option as a dupe for you if you prefer a more traditional look.

Pottery Barn Tyler Leather Accent Chair Dupe

One of my favorite ways to pair a chair with a sofa is using a leather chair.  In a nubuck color, you can pair a leather chair with either a neutral or dark sofa. 

It took me years to find the perfect leather chair to compliment the PB York sofas.  When I saw the Pottery Barn Tyler leather chair in the Nubuck fabric, I knew it would be the perfect look for my family room as well.  The sleek, streamlined look of this chair is why I chose it.  You can purchase it as a recliner, with nailheads, or as a swivel chair.  In essence, it’s a very versatile chair.

The dupe for the PB Tyler chair is this Wayfair Berube Club Chair. It’s full-grain leather, so no need to worry about getting a faux leather chair. It has refined architectural lines, and a nod to mid-century styling showcases this club chair’s uniquely simple yet sleek design. Go ahead and give it a comparison to the PB Tyler armchair and see if it measures up.

PB Lorraine Coffee Table Dupe

I have stumbled across a dupe for this Pottery Barn Lorraine coffee table.  The draw of this particular coffee table was the color and size.  It’s a massive rectangle table, and the Hewn Oak finish perfectly blends with the other wood tones in my family room.  I purchased the 48” coffee table; however, they also sell the 54” and 60” sizes.  The 54” size comes in four different finishes, unlike the 48” and 60” sizes which only come in two finishes, Hewn Oak and Rustic Brown.

The Wayfair Lewisburg trestle coffee table is almost the same table, except the color is a tad bit darker than the Oak Hewn finish on the PB Lorriane coffee table. This finish does match the Rustic Brown color very well, so why pay double the cost of this beauty.

Pottery Barn Tanner Side Table Copycat

The Pottery Barn Tanner side tables paired with the Lorraine coffee table are an excellent way to mix iron and wood tones.  The dupe for this side table is an absolute steal.  Can you believe this Jumpluff table is from Walmart?  Run, don’t walk to go scoop this table up if you’re looking for the Pottery Barn look without the price.

Restoration Hardware Trestle Table Dupes

The two dining tables in my home are from Restoration Hardware, and I absolutely love them.  The color (along with their style) is what drew me to these tables.  I love the look of a substantial table; however, you can achieve this look for less.

According to RH, this rectangular trestle table is the oldest known dining table design.  Maybe that’s why I was so drawn to this style for my formal dining room.  This style is commonly seen in farmhouses, and it’s typically rustic.  I love this particular table because it looks like a farmhouse table, but the finish is more modern, even with the baluster legs.  It comes in two different finishes, which can suit either a farmhouse or modern farmhouse style home.

You can easily find this style of dining table at various online retailers. 

This round dining table is from the same Restoration Hardware collection.  It’s equally as beautiful as the rectangular table.  My trestle table is roughly 48” round is so substantial for either a formal dining room or less formal eat-in kitchen.  Unlike the rectangle trestle table, this particular round table comes in four different finishes.  I chose the weathered gray for my eat-in kitchen. This Home Depot dupes is a very close copycat to this weathered gray RH round trestle table, and it’s 1/3 of the price.

Restoration Hardware Upholstered Chair Dupes

Coincidently, the most underused space is my home has the most investment pieces. I promise it wasn’t supposed to end up that way; however, casual dining rules in my home. Even if these RH Hudson Parsons chairs and underused, they are still an amazing buy if you want the option of a performance fabric in your formal dining room. These are classic chairs that will never go out of style, so why not check out these Facets armless chairs from Macy’s. They have the same look as the higher-end RH chairs without the hefty price tag.

I love the idea of having armchairs at the head of the table. The RH Hudson Parsons upholstered chairs are stylish and sleek. The mix of arm and armless chairs is always a good design principle…especially if you’re looking to add interest to your dining space.

In case you’re looking to add matching arm and armless dining chairs, check out these Rachael Ray Monteverdi Upholstered side and armchairs from Macy’s. They are affordable and classic enough to fit almost any design style.

If you want to just add classic x-back wooden chairs with two armchairs at the head of the table, check out this dupe for my Restoration Hardware Stewart wingback dining chair. It’s the World Market Dexter Wingback chair in the color ivory. It’s sleek and beautiful, so don’t hesitate to mix and match this beauty with more casual side chairs.

RH Madeline Counter Stools and Dining Chair Copycat

I immediately knew that I wanted bistro chairs and counter stools for my kitchen almost four years ago.  The modern French country style of these Restoration Hardware Madeline counter stools and chairs were some of the first pieces of furniture I purchased for this home.  In addition to the chairs and counter stools, I also invested in these seat cushions in a Perennials fabric as well.  I have washed these cushion covers so many times, and they are worn so beautifully.

After purchasing these chairs and counter stools, I started to see dupes pop up everywhere for these Restoration Hardware Madeline chairs/stools.  The color was so similar; it was hard to pick out which ones were the dupes.  These x-back dining chairs from World Market are so stylish and will ultimately save you a few coins over the RH Madeline dining chairs. If you want the option of choosing your finish, then these only come in one color.

Just like the x-back dining chairs, I found a copycat version of the RH Madeline counter stools at Walmart. This Linon Roxy counter stool is the perfect copycat.

Pottery Barn Toscana Sideboard Copycat

I absolutely love the size of this PB Toscana sideboard. The fact that it has glass fronts for displaying my white serving ware makes it’s the perfect addition to my dining room. I purchased it in the Seadrift finish, and it compliments my grey-washed RH trestle table so well.

Honestly, it was not very difficult to find an absolutely perfect copycat for this beautiful piece. This Triton 64″ wide sideboard from Wayfair is a great value for the look, and it gives you almost as much storage as the Pottery Barn piece. The biggest value is that this copycat is less than half the price of the PB Toscana sideboard.

McGee & Co Williamsen Counter Stool Dupe

While on a mission to update my kitchen, I recently purchased these McGee & Co Williamsen backless counter stools.  I have been eyeing them for some time, especially when I would see them in one of the Studio McGee perfectly styled kitchens.  These counter stools resemble the tractor seat backless counter stools but with a modern twist.  The metal detail is so unique that it’s almost impossible to find a dupe. 

The dupe for these counter stools is basically a tractor seat counter stool with metal legs and a light wood finish.  I initially purchased the West Elm Alden stools in the wrong height, so I had to return them.  They are beautiful counter and barstools; however, my kitchen’s gray metal legs did not work.  After I returned them, I searched all over for a dupe for the McGee and Co counter stools since they were out of stock for months. 

While searching, I ran across these beautiful counter stools that are equally as beautiful as the McGee & Co Williamsen counter stools.  They are only missing the black metal and gold design detail on the back of them.  For the price, you can’t go wrong with these counter stools.

My Best Lighting Dupes for a High-end Look

Now that we’ve discussed seating let’s move on to lighting.  I’ve scoured the Internet to find ways to achieve a designer look on a budget when it comes to lighting.

I get so many compliments about these pendants, so let start there.  The Visual Comfort Katie Conical pendants are one of my favorite light fixtures in my home.  In fact, they were the first changes that I made to my kitchen. This very simple Wayfair Byer pendant is one of the best copycats I’ve seen, and the price is less than half the designer version.

Another talked-about light fixture (and one that is installed in some of the most stylish homes) is this E.F. Chapman Darlana linear chandelier. If you love the modern farmhouse style design, then chances are you’ve seen the dupe for this linear lantern. This Wayfair Carmen is so spot-on; you can’t really tell unless you know that the E.F. Chapman designer one has off-white candelabras. Check out that price! It’s pretty much a steal.

Now that we’ve discussed the pricier of the light fixtures let’s discuss the dupe for this Pottery Barn Lucca chandelier.  This is probably one of the looks that you can easily copy for less than a quarter of the cost of this chandelier. The Wayfair Ralls 6-light candle-style chandelier is such a great find. I know you could easily pull off a modern farmhouse look in your family room and dining space with this amazing piece.

Gabby Henkel Office Desk Dupe

My office desk has been sold out for over a year, so it was only fitting that I find a suitable dupe for you. This Gabby Henkel desk features a grey wood finish and metal legs. It’s gorgeous and was such a splurge. You don’t have to worry because I got you covered. This Lowes Felix has a unique cross design that can fit any design style. Since you know that the Gabby Henkel desk is sold out on Houzz, why not check out the more affordable look.
